Yoga is an ancient science of integrating the mind, body and spirit. The practice of yoga can bring health and vitality to the body by strengthening muscles, increasing circulation and improving concentration. Taking yoga onto a paddleboard empowers students and inspires confidence, while the serenity of the water brings peace of mind. Finding balance on the board, like listening to the breath helps take students away from the busy mind and find inner peace.

This all levels paddle yoga class is designed to ease students into SUP Yoga. Classes begin with a warm up paddle. We will then anchor our boards in a tranquil spot on the lake. After taking a few moments to settle in and enjoy the scenery, students will be guided through a series of yoga postures that will build strength and flexibility. Modifications and adjustments will be offered so any level of student will feel supported. Breathing and meditation techniques throughout class will allow students to find peace and steadiness within their personal practice. There will also be time to play and explore on the boards. By the end of class students are guaranteed to feel more relaxed and centered!
“Take you gaze to a tree, a flower, a plant and let your awareness rest upon it. How still they are, how deeply rooted in being. Allow nature to teach you stillness.” -Eckhart Tolle
